Dubai plans low-cost airline

Dubai plans to launch a low-cost airline that will cater to the growing budget travel market within the region, according to state-owned Emirates News Agency (WAM). No details were given on when the airline will be launched or its routes. Two Emirates officials have been named chairman and CEO of the airline, but it is unclear what relationship the new airline will have with the Emirates Group, reported Gulf News.
