Saudi China trade rockets

The balance of trade between Saudi Arabia and China was SR75bn last year. That figure is expected to rise this year, as China becomes more dependent on Saudi crude, as well as through additional investment opportunities between the two countries. The kingdom is China's largest trading partner in the Middle East, said Arab News. China imported 25 million tonnes of crude in 2006.
