Equipped with a 14.1' UltraVivid widescreen, 2.5inch auxiliary display, Intel Core2 Duo processor and Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, the Joybook Q41 integrates stylish design, functionality and convenience for users on the go.

'The care and attention BenQ brings to exterior design and improved ease-of-use for software is matched with our alignment with industry production requirements and practices,' said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, BenQ Middle East & Africa.

'BenQ takes personal entertainment to the next level with its new class of laptop, built to fulfil all users' needs conveniently and reliably while combining form and function in an attractive product.'

Inspired by the glass curtain walls of skyscrapers, the Joybook Q41 has a glossy belt for its 2.5inch auxiliary display and a trendy red operation-key-lighting. It features BenQ's exclusive UltraVivid technology with DBEFTM (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film), which helps increase screen brightness and sharpens details to deliver a superior viewing experience.

Additionally, the Joybook Q41 is the first laptop to offer VoIP function directly from the auxiliary display, allowing users to dial from the external monitor and be instantly in touch with friends and family. The notebook also has the Windows Sideshow - a Vista-only technology that lets users work even while the laptop is switched off or hibernating.

'The Joybook Q41 is a class-defining product that lets users keep their favourite music, photos and games on its 2.5' auxiliary display, giving them freedom to quickly browse the information they need and enjoy personal entertainment without opening the laptop,' Bakshi added.

For time poor executives, the Joybook Q41 provides convenient access to calendar appointments, latest emails, entire contact lists and even PowerPoint presentations, all on the auxiliary display. The Joybook Q41 is available across the UAE as well as in other major regional markets.

'In making the Joybook Q41 widely available in the Middle East, BenQ continues its tradition of introducing leading-edge solutions to satisfy techno-savvy consumers' needs in the Arab world.

'BenQ's enviable success in bringing out products of outstanding quality has been crucial to the company's emergence as a market leader, and we intend to further intensify our R&D efforts to keep introducing world-class products and solutions that deliver value to our consumers,' Bakshi concluded.
