Dubai Real Estate Institute holds partnership talks with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Dr. Mohamed Al Shehhi, Managing Director, Dubai Real Estate Institute, held talks on possibilities of a collaborative partnership with Professor Tony Ciochetti, Chairman of Centre for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, during his visit to the DREI campus.

The discussions focused on offering MIT's world class executive education courses on real estate subjects at DREI; facilitating the admission of DREI students to summer courses at MIT; involving DREI in the MIT global network of partners; exploring research collaborations to address industry needs and challenges, and allowing interested faculty from MIT Real Estate Centre to spend part of their sabbatical in Dubai.

Dr. Mohamed Al Shehhi, Managing Director of DREI, said:

About Dubai Real Estate Institute

As the first real estate academic institution in the region, the Dubai Real Estate Institute aims to enrich and broaden the knowledge and competencies of real estate professionals and managers at all levels. The institute, which will commence in the academic year 2007-2008, operates in partnership with several international real estate universities to offer graduate programmes and industry specific, open enrolment courses.
