Approximately 56 companies ranging from world famous luxury brands that will include; cars, boats, private jets, property, jewellery, fashion, art, furniture, mobile phones etc. will join business stands that include; banks, investment houses, lawyers, and British companies who wish to develop trade and investment opportunities within Saudi Arabia and other Gulf States. For the first year admission for visitors will be free.
A centrepiece of the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair will be a stunning Arabic tent, constructed within the hotel's ballroom that will serve coffee and refreshments, and will also be an ideal place for business networking.
The InterContinental will be carrying a strong Middle Eastern theme on the run up to the trade fair and during the trade fair with Arabic cuisine available within the hotel.
A spokesman for the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair says,
'An event of this nature is long overdue in London during the summer. We anticipate that over the two days several thousand Saudi and Gulf people will visit the trade fair at the InterContinental.'
The spokesman continues, 'We will have a fleet of luxury limousines that will offer complementary transport to the trade fair from other hotels and private residencies in Central London for any Saudi and Gulf visitors.'
The Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair will extend to five days from next year (2009). The planned dates are from 7th August until 11th August 2009, again at the InterContinental London Park Lane.
