Ruwad Establishment organizes course on how to start a small enterprise

Attended by 20 young nationals, the course was comprised of a series of lectures on certain leadership characteristics and qualities that allow leaders, especially entrepreneurs to experience greater success. Other lectures focused on the phases of establishing an enterprise from being a fresh idea until developing it to virtual reality, with details on the requirements and tools of this transformation.

This course came in line with Ruwad's plans that aim to nurture the small enterprises on a scientific basis, spread the culture of self employment and encourage young graduates to explore the untapped investment opportunities which are available in the UAE. The establishment promotes the investment in various sectors that are best matched according to graduates' qualifications and personal attributes and provides the technical information, training, management expertise and infrastructure support for these projects.

The trainees attended lectures supported by data and tables to facilitate an understanding of the appropriate steps required to establish a small enterprise. The lecture included questions such as "What I want to be and to do? What is my ambition?", as this contemplative education enables the trainee to understand the inner self, realize the desires and satisfy their ambitions by exploring a small project that meet the ambition level. The next phase is to select the most suitable enterprise, conduct a feasibility study and look for fund sources to accommodate the budget requirements.

The participants received detailed information about Ruwad's services which include technical assistance and consultancy services to help develop the work environment of the small and medium enterprises.

Ruwad, in association with the concerned governmental and non-governmental institutions, supports the studies and researches, and provides nurturing business incubators for the new ideas as well as funding facilities in cooperation with banks and financial institutions with the aim to enhance growth and competitiveness of these projects.
