Lights out for UP

On March 29, at 8:00pm, Union Properties PJSC (UP) will join the World Wide Fund for Nature's 'Earth Hour', the global initiative to highlight climate change, by switching off the external lights of UP Tower, its prominent landmark on Sheikh Zayed Road in addition to all their properties and towers across Dubai.

UP will also include its projects under construction; MotorCity, Index and Limestone House in the campaign.

"We look forward to joining Dubai and the rest of the world on this global movement to deliver a powerful message about the need for action on global warming," said Simon E. Azzam, Chief Executive Officer, Union Properties. "It is very important for everyone to take a step and make a difference in their everyday lifestyles beyond Earth Hour by forming a habit of switching off non-essential appliances and lights at home and the workplace."
