Solaris brings eye-catching style to Dubai Fashion Week

In its first ever tie-up with Dubai Fashion Week, Solaris the region's leading dedicated boutique for designer sunglasses launched its new 2008 collection.

The line blends fashion, elegance, daring design, and radical innovation with classic and contemporary shapes to suit varied tastes. Encompassing bold, trendy and exciting lines from leading brands such as Tom Ford, Chloe, Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Prada, Dior, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Miu Miu, Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana, all of which are available at Solaris stores in the region.

Middle East Brand Manager for Solaris, Katia Andrejev said the support for Dubai Fashion Week comes after a successful first year for the brand in Dubai.

The new collection consists of eight different ranges comprising: 'The Couture', represented by a range of high-end designer labels, which include Dior, Prada and Gucci. 'The Luxe' features luxurious brands such as Cartier, Chopard and Bulgari. 'The Image' has shades from the hottest designers like Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors amongst others. 'The Ageless' includes timeless yet forever cool pieces by Ray Ban, Persol and Police, whilst Eye tech brands known for their most advanced lenses and frames technology such as Oakley, Bolle, Arnette, Serengeti offer sports-specific eyewear. 'The Urban' has uber-trendy sunglasses from Diesel, Guess and Vogue. Fashionable and quality sunglasses for little ones can be found in the 'Junior and Kids' line and last but not least, the 'by Solaris' range developed by modern designers especially for Solaris is an attractively priced, yet high quality product.

The Solaris fashion forecasting team predicted the success of Bottega Veneta's 'Butterfly' and Tom Ford's women's collection in 2007, which became an instant hit and a must-have accessory of a long list of celebrities.
