Batelco staff complete CCNA Programme at Batelco's Cisco Academy

Batelco is delighted to announce that all 16 candidates participating in a six month CCNA course at Batelco's Cisco Academy completed the programme with high marks.
A ceremony was held March 18th at the Academy to award the successful participants. Present on the occasion were Batelco Group General Manager Human Resources Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa, Batelco General Manager Networks Ebraihim Zainal and Batelco Senior Manager Human Resources Development Kamal Bahrani.
Also in attendance were Ministry of Labour & Directorate of Human Resources Development Supervisor Training Projects, Saeed Al Fardan, and Bahrain Training Institute Deputy Director General Training Fadel A. Rabea.
Shaikh Ahmed congratulated the successful students and wished them well for their future careers.
"We are very proud of this achievement and also delighted to be helping young Bahrainis to attain their career goals by offering scholarships," he said.
Mr. Al-Fardan said that the Ministry appreciated what Batelco had achieved through the programme.
"We thank Batelco for their great efforts. We hope the programme will continue to grow and meet with further success in the future," he said.
"I am very happy to have been present to witness the first batch graduate from this excellent programme established through the cooperation of Batelco, Cisco and the BTI," said Mr. Rabea.
"I am really proud of the success of the partnership and would like to see it grow to offer higher level courses in the future," he added.
The Cisco Academy, located at Batelco's Hamala Headquarters was opened last year following the signing of an agreement between Batelco, Cisco and BTI.
The Academy aims to boost the networking skills of a large number of trainees each year and provide fully qualified local talent with CCNA qualifications, to support the telecom and networking industry in Bahrain.
