The awards, held annually in key GCC markets recognize outstanding business achievements and leadership. This year's conference is the first of its kind to address investment and business opportunities in Kuwait.

Majeed Hujair, Kuwait and Bahrain Country Manager, Visa Inc, said 'Visa is committed to supporting business in Kuwait and the Gulf region and the Arabian Business Awards represent industry excellence and best practices and are an ideal vehicle to foster business opportunities in the country. The one day event will bring business leaders and economists together to discuss government initiatives with guest speakers from across the region.

In addition, the conference will also feature debates on the key issues affecting business in Kuwait and the market in general. The unique event is expected to bring together, the business and government leaders to provide their insight into future opportunities and maximizing potential returns.

Previous winners of the 'Arabian Business' awards include His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morroco, His Royal Highness Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal, and the Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.
