This decision aims at facilitating the processing and finalization of the urgent procedures in a speedy and effective manner.
The new decision came into effect during a ceremony held at the premises of DNRD, celebrating the promotion of Major-General Al Marri who addressed DNRD employees saying: 'It is a great honor for me to receive this token of appreciation by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. This is a symbol of our collective success at DNRD which is built on your hard work and your ongoing support. More importantly this is just the beginning and we hope to raise the standards even higher as we go along to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.'
Al Marri highlighted the role of the female element within the department and welcomed the opinions and creative input of the younger generation which he considered essentials to the development of the department.
A final note was given to Colonel Obaid bin Suroor, Deputy Director of DNRD, who promised to keep up the hard work under the guidance of Major-General Al Marri.
