Etisalat join forces with Ajman Municipality

Etisalat announced its participation in "Ajman Urban Planning Conference" demonstrating the latest technologies in the field of infrastructure, maintenance, management, and administration.

The conference commenced on the 24th of March at Ajman University and will continue till 26th March under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman.

The municipality and planning department of Ajman is developing an urban development plan for the city named "Ajman 2030".

The main objective of the conference this year is to take advantage of the presence of experts and specialists participating in this conference to guide the physical development of the city.

It will include discussions and presentations of their visions, opinions and experiences with similar issues raised on visioning the future.

Abdul Aziz Al Taryam, General Manager Northern Region, Etisalat, said: "Our prticipation in this event demonstrates Etisalat's commitment and dedication to support the development and modernization of the UAE in general and Ajman city in particular. We have been closely involved with the AUPC last year, and we had no hesitation in confirming our participation for 2008".

Etisalat has also been long associated with initiatives of the government sector, and supports activities that span the areas of business, education, sport, healthcare and many others.
