Batelco Hearts & Minds Committee marks World Kidney Day

On the occasion of World Kidney Day, Batelco Hearts & Minds Committee, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, recently arranged for a 30-minute walkathon at Marina Club public sideway.
Participants expressed their gratitude and support to the Batelco Hearts & Minds Committee for organising such a beneficial activity.
"Members of The Hearts & Minds Committee have thankfully dedicated themselves to serving the local community," said Batelco Group GM Human Resources Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa.
"This walkathon is one of a series of events that the Hearts & Minds Committee has arranged recently that aim to raise the level of awareness on a number of worthwhile causes among community members," he added.
The Hearts & Minds Committee was formed during 2007 as part of Batelco's commitment to the community.
As well as contributing financially to a wide range of health, educational, sports and cultural projects, members of the Batelco Hearts & Minds committee volunteer their time to a variety of charitable causes.
The Committee co-ordinates with government and civil institutions to ensure extension of its assistance to all those who need it most.
