McDonald's new contemporary store now serves up at Bahrain International Airport

The company has also entered the café market in Bahrain with the first Mc Café offering a wide selection of great-tasting, exclusive premium coffee, gourmet cakes & muffins and delicious snacks. The launch was attended by representatives of Civil Aviation Affairs, Bahrain Airport Services and McDonald's key management team at the Airport.

"At McDonald's, our aim is to be a 'forever young' brand which adopts itself to the changing lifestyle of our customers and provides them with the best, most contemporary restaurant experience. To meet the needs of our customers, we have revamped our menu and embarked on an ambitious re-imaging program that will see more than 13 restaurants across the country showcase a more relevant and inviting atmosphere," said Mr. Ali El-Hajj, McDonald's Bahrain General Manager.

The dining area of the restaurant has been separated into three sections with distinct personalities. The "linger" zone with comfortable armchairs, sofas, is targeted towards young adults who want to socialize and hang out. The "grab and go" zone features tall counters with bar stools for customers who eat alone with plasma TVs. The third section is the "flexible" zone which has been designed for families and large groups looking to relax in a comfortable and casual setting.

The Mc Café located within the restaurant uses only the finest Arabica beans to prepare its rich, full-flavored coffee. The Arabica beans are roasted in the time honored Italian fashion to ensure a well-rounded taste and rich aroma. Mc Café offers relaxing ambience surroundings where you can take your time and unwind over a long café latté or if you need a perk-up savor a rich single espresso.
