Fairmont Dubai wins four awards at the 2008 Timeout Dubai Restaurant Awards

This marked the second consecutive year that the three dining destinations - Spectrum on One, The Exchange Grill and Cin Cin, were rewarded with top marks for their culinary excellence.

WINNER - Best Steakhouse - The Exchange Grill

Rich surroundings of leather, bas-relief timber and hand-etched Italian glass flooded by natural light have been combined to create the perfect harmonious dining experience. Highly Commended Wine Bar - Cin Cin

The chic wine bar with avant-garde style has become a true destination for the urban set. The impressive wine selection showcasing over 250 international labels and 50 wines by the glass. A cutting edge menu including a flight of waygu beef burgers, caviar and other international delicacies, complements this extensive selection. Designed by UK architect Paul Bishop, the design of Cin Cin is based on a contemporary theme that is consistent throughout with intricate floor designs, reflective white paneling and modern furnishings.

Highly Commended Friday Brunch - Spectrum on One

Long established as an institution in Dubai, Spectrum on One's Friday brunch has been recognised as the brunch in the city. Since it was first launched in January 2004, this Friday afternoon epicurean experience has quickly found itself in the social calendar of many city socialites and local residents and has gained momentum in Dubai by providing a retreat from bustling city life into a world of gastronomic fantasy.

The 2008 TimeOut Dubai Restaurant Awards consisted of twenty three categories and was held at The Monarch Dubai. The gala dinner and awards ceremony was attended by over five hundred industry professionals and event sponsors, who gathered to recognise the city's finest restaurants.
