UAE markets down

UAE markets continued to suffer today, with both the Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Market down. The DFM fell 55 points, or 1.02%, to 5,404.68. Most traded stocks performed poorly, with Grand Real Estate Projects dropping 6.43%. Of those that did record rises, Al Firdous Holding performed best, closing up 4.85%. The ADSM fared better than the DFM, dropping just 0.24%, or 11 points, to 4,665.25. At 8.42%, Umm Al Qaiwain Cement recorded the biggest loss of the day, while National Marine Dredging fared best, up 9.65%.
