Combined with the five Embraer 190 firm orders announced during the Dubai Airshow in November last year, the nasair E-Jets fleet comes to a total of ten aircraft. The E-Jets will serve as the backbone of the nasair fleet, flying in growing domestic and regional markets.

"We are very proud to welcome a new E-Jet operator in the Middle East, where the jet family has already proven its value in commercial service," said Mauro Kern, Embraer Executive Vice President, Airline Market. "While passengers flying with nasair enjoy superior cabin comfort on the E-Jets, the operator will benefit from the outstanding economics and performance that the Embraer 190 and the Embraer 195 deliver."

The Embraer 195 delivered to nasair features a comfortable, single-class configuration with 118 seats. The family of E-Jets airlines is growing in the Middle East and customers are reporting a very positive passenger acceptance.

"Today's delivery heralds the beginning of new and exciting developments for nasair's successful business model," commented Ed Winter, CEO of nasair aviation. "We are very excited to receive our first E-Jet - the catalyst for our aggressive growth, which will enable us to expand our domestic activity and take us to new regions in the Middle East."
