Sage increases investment in Saudi Arabia to provide too-class support to both channel partners and end users

Increasing demand for its extensive range of solutions in Saudi Arabia has prompted Sage, the leading business software provider to invest in better customer support services as well as provide more value through the addition of local Saudi partners to its channel base.

Sage Software Middle East Managing Director Marc Van der Ven said, "We realize that there are more demands for our business solutions especially in the manufacturing, real estate and services sectors. We are unique from other solutions providers because we are focused on delivering efficient, no-nonsense business solutions that deliver value from day one."

He said that participants not only learned about business best practices in industries in these areas but how they could tap on the first class support services provided by Sage local partners and vendors throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Van der Ven said this during the Sage's Riyadh Solution Day, its first customer road show following the recent launch of its Saudi operations. Over 200 decision makers and channel partners attended the event.

Both customers and channel partners were also present at Sage's Riyadh Solution Day, including newly appointed local channel partners Digicom and Experts Team as well as existing partners Arabian Computer Systems and Sigma Force Solutions.

As Saudi's market for technology solutions expands and with estimates by research house IDC that $3.76bn will be spent in 2008 on IT systems, Sage is set to launch another first in the Kingdom - comprehensive training sessions for end users.

Experts Teams Chief Executive Officer Saed Ali said they are delighted to be partnering Sage to offer more value to companies within the Kingdom.

"Sage understands that the fundamentals to have successful deployment of their solutions are to have people on the ground. Through partners such as Experts Teams, Sage would be able to provide customization, deliver more quickly and provide quality support to ensure customer satisfaction," he said.

"Sage is committed to invest in training and education and we are thrilled to be part of the Sage ecosystem to help deliver cutting-edge business solutions to Saudi Arabian companies to improve their competitive edge," said Sigma Force Solutions Sales and Marketing Manager Adnan Mohammed.

He said that few companies were willing to spend on training and education especially in the Kingdom due to the investment required; Sage showed that they care to improve not only the customer's experience but also provide value to customers through active, experienced channel partners working hand in hand with on-the-ground staff.
