Coffee passion spills at Starbucks

To mark the spirit of the season, the world's largest coffee chain is bringing a new range of delicious coffees from Peru and Costa Rica to the Middle East.

Available for a limited period, these spring flavours are among the best of brews Starbucks usually offers to its devoted customers in the region.

Peru coffee brings a refreshingly exquisite taste to the region, with the perfect balance of medium body, acidity and mild nut flavours.

Peru is known for the enchanting aroma of its coffee, grown in the fertile and biologically diverse stretches between the Pacific Ocean, Andes Mountains and the Amazon River.

Peru's Coffee is the result of Starbucks partnership with Conservation International, a non-profit organization that works worldwide to protect global biodiversity.

Through its Conservation Coffee program, Conservation International provides farmers with technical assistance in the growing, processing and marketing of high-quality coffee.

"Starbucks collaborates with farmers and global environmental groups to encourage environmentally sound coffee-growing practices and to improve farmer livelihoods. This helps us source the richest and finest coffee beans worldwide, thus meeting our commitment to our loyal customers and the environment," said Antoun Abou Jaoude, Marketing Manager for Starbucks in the Middle East.

As for Bella Vista F.W Tres Rios Coffee from Costa Rica, it lingers in the palate with its sparkling acidity, mild flavour and refreshing finish. To add to the experience one can almost distinguish hints of additional flavours such as citrus fruit, strawberries, pineapple, peach and cinnamon.

The coffee farms at Bella Vista - meaning "beautiful view" - are among the oldest in Costa Rica, one of the top ten coffee-producing countries in the world. The country also ranks as the second-largest coffee supplier for Starbucks worldwide.

True to its tradition, Starbucks is also lending more twists and thrills to its wide range of beverages flavours and duets.

The choice varies from Cinnamon Dolce Latte (hot and iced) to the Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino Blended coffee.

The Cinnamon Dolce Latte has a warm comforting taste of sweet cinnamon with a hint of butter flavour.

Whipped cream and cinnamon sugar sprinkles can be added to this delightfully rich coffee.

Cinnamon Roll Delight is the best match with this beverage with its mouth-watering cinnamon and white fondant.

Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino Blended Coffee is full of sweet cinnamon flavour with a hint of butter flavour.

This ice-blended coffee stirs up a taste sensation with its topping of whipped cream and cinnamon sugar sprinkles. Covered with crushed, caramelised almond, the Peruvian treat also pairs perfectly with a light Almond Croquant of a white sponge cake to serve a great duet.

Mexican food lovers will have an enjoyable treat when they taste the Mexican Chicken Fajita garnished with green pepper and cashew nuts.

The luscious sandwich makes a great pair with a cup of Bella Vista coffee.
