Bahrain Air inaugurates Alexandria flight

Bahrain Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain's only premium low priced airline commences its first flight to Alexandria, its first North African destination today.
Alexandria is a popular destination for not only Egyptian expatriates living in Bahrain and in other Gulf countries but also a popular holiday resort city for GCC nationals. With the commencement of Bahrain Air's services, and its competitive lower rates, travel to and from Alexandria becomes not only more comfortable but also very affordable. The city also connects other Egyptian destinations easily by air, train and road. Bahrain Air offers coach and private car services to Cairo for a very reasonable fare.
Mr Mohamed Saleh Fakhri, Director of Commercial Operations added, "Our flight to Alexandria is a part of our commitment to provide affordable and smooth travel within the GCC and the Middle East. We are delighted at the response we have received and ensure that flying through Bahrain to our destinations is a quick one."
Bahrain Air will add two new destinations to its network of 7 Middle Eastern cities in May 2008. Services to Kuwait will commence in the first week of May whilst Aleppo in Syria will be added later that month. Bahrain Air intends to fly to Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, in October this year.
