Coca Cola launches Coca Cola Zero

Coca Cola has launched the latest of its soft drinks in March, dubbed Coca Cola Zero in a ceremony at the company's headquarters in Riyadh.
The new drink is an innovation in the world of soft drinks. It retains the legendary Coca Cola taste while being completely sugar free.
With this launch, Zero is the latest soft drink to join the soft drink family of Coca Cola, the world's most favorite brand of soft drinks all over the world, along with Coca Cola Lite, with its unique flavor that was especially attractive to women.
"Today we witness an unprecedented historical event in the soft drinks industry," said Rafiq Al-Toukhi, head of Coca Cola's Middle East operations. "By launching Zero, Coca Cola has achieved the magical equation of maintaining its legendary taste in a sugar free drink. That is why Zero is a real revolution in the world of soft drinks."
Coca Cola's marketing plan for Zero has been designed to attract young men and women, while targeting chiefly men between 20 and 29 years old.
"Our studies and research have shown that there are so many people who crave the original Coca Cola taste, but don't want the sugar. Now, Zero is the answer to their wishes. We are certain that the new product will enjoy widespread popularity.
Coca Cola chose the name Zero to indicate that the new drink is completely sugar free. It already had been launched in the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Turkey, Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Bahrain and had met with great success.
