The students were invited by the UAE's Embassy in Canberra, Australia, as part of an exchange program between the two countries which allowed the students to witness the UAE's immense growth over the last few years and to see the technological advancements currently used in the educational arena.

Djarragun College provides educational programmes to indigenous Australians.

The college promotes excellence in education and places strong emphasis on competency in literacy and numeracy, and in developing skills that will support students in their quest to become active and contributing citizens of the global community.

Since one of ADWC's graduate outcomes is global awareness and citizenship, ADWC students were very interested in spending time with the Australian students to show them the campus and the technology used in learning.

The students had lunch together and talked about the differences in their educational experiences.

The Australian students were then given a tour of the campus and were able to see the state-of-the-art technology used throughout all campuses of the Higher Colleges of Technology.

The students were very impressed with ADWC's 100% wireless campus as well as the technological advances used in the UAE's educational system.
