Fujitsu Siemens Computers names Distributech FZCO as new partner
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, April 01 - 2008 at 10:31
- PRESS RELEASE
As part of its drive to increase its reach in the small and medium-sized segment of the UAE's PC and server market, Fujitsu Siemens Computers has appointed Distributech FZCO as a local distributor for its hardware solutions.
When seeking a new channel partner for the Emirates, Fujitsu Siemens Computers identified Distributech for its robust reputation and in-depth market knowledge, coupled with aligned regional operations between the two companies.
"While Fujitsu Siemens Computers has been making considerable in-roads into the region's enterprise sector, we felt that there was still a significant portion of the UAE and wider GCC market to address with new SMB offerings," said Stephane Rejasse, Managing Director for Fujitsu Siemens Computers Middle East.
"Smaller and medium businesses can be even more performance- and cost-conscious about deploying efficient hardware solutions that help run their growing organizations more effectively, which is a key reason that we are partnering with Distributech to address opportunities in the SMB sector."
With its focus on industry-specific free trade zones and entrepreneurial environment, the wider GCC and especially the UAE has a proportionally high number of SMBs, which require technology solutions that help make them more competitive while providing return on investment.
"This distribution agreement with Fujitsu's Siemens underlines the market credibility that Distributech FZCO has come to command in the region," said V.O Sebastian, Managing Director, Al Abbas Group. "We will fully utilize our market expertise, network of certified professionals, and regional understanding to ensure an increase in market share for Fujitsu Siemens Computers' server and PC solutions."
