The first language institute in the Middle East introduces interactive boards

These powerful boards are being set up by Dubai's leading Institute of languages to deliver the new content in richer ways through interactive learning. The new technology offers creative and dynamic experiences that support personalised learning.

With the Smart Board interactive whiteboard, students become actively engaged in different cultures and languages by navigating websites, watching videos, listening to music and writing in the interactive board.

'We are very proud to introduce the interactive boards as one of our teaching strategies towards the creation and enhancement of learning opportunities thus, helping raise educational standards in the Middle East for future generations,' said Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Managing Director of Eton Institute of Languages.

'All educational institutions will be moving into a phase where technology is being used to transform existing teaching and learning practices by combining resources in new ways. It is just a matter of time when this technology will become a standard in the UAE.'

The board empowers educators to engage, educate, assess and motivate learners, so everyone benefits from a greatly enhanced learning experience. There has already been excellent students response to the technology, with students excited and fascinated about the more active and dynamic nature of lessons.

The technology enables to create, customise and integrate text, images, quizzes and tests, web, video and audio content, so the teachers can more easily capture students' attention and accommodate different learning styles.

'The board is simply a revolution to interactive classroom teaching that takes learning to a new level,' Dr. Ali added.
