BurJuman supports Dubai Racing Club 2007-2008 season as official fashion partner

This year's anticipated racing season will see BurJuman bring style and glamour to every event, both on and off the track.

After the huge success of BurJuman Fillies & Fashion show in 2007, the luxury shopping destination has planned three such impressive shows as a run-up to the 2008 racing season. Synonymous with being the ultimate luxury fashion trendsetter of the region, BurJuman will actively support and give recognition to a wide variety of stylish, luxury race wear, which began with the Winter Style Stakes on January 10, and will continue with the upcoming Carnival Style Stakes to be held on February 28, and lastly, the Super Thursday Style Stakes on March 06.

This year's line up of Fillies & Fashion runway shows will see the latest in race wear collections by some of the world's leading designers from a variety of BurJuman's retail partners, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Kenzo, and ABS by Allen Schwartz.

'BurJuman as the residence of high fashion encourages fashion events that intertwine a marvelous mix of modern day trends and classic race wear,' said Ms. Sabina Khandwani, Head of PR and Marketing, BurJuman.

'Further, being the fashion partner for Fillies & Fashion highlights BurJuman's contribution to the racing season, filled with both fashion and entertainment,' added Khandwani.

Prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Lady, Couple and Hat in each of the three Fillies and Fashion Style Stakes competitions. Winners in each category will automatically be entered in the final competition, the Dubai World Cup Style Stakes, taking place March 29.

This event remains a favorite among Dubai's style-savvy race-going community and will continue to deliver exclusive runway shows including the latest in fashion brands to the public this season. Fillies & Fashion includes a lavish four-course dinner and selected beverages on the stunning lawns of Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, with all the excitement of world class racing.
