Eton Institute of Languages offers introductory Arabic lesson

This lesson will include an introduction to the Arabic language including history, the alphabet, unique phonetic sounds, and basic greetings.

It is meant to create an opportunity for everyone to get to know the language and perhaps help decide whether or not to pursue the language further.

Dr. Eli Abi Rached, Eton Institute of Languages Managing Director stressed that, "Knowing that cultural differences as well as similarities exist, without assigning values, i.e., better or worse, right or wrong, to those cultural differences."

Knowing the Arabic language, albeit basic knowledge, will create a greater understanding of the culture and way of life that surrounds us. Needless to say, that having an understanding or working knowledge of the language is an advantage in one's personal and professional life in the UAE.

"This is one of the many public sessions that we will be offering featuring different languages and cultures which aim to create introduction to selected cultural characteristics, history, values, belief systems, and behaviours in the region," Dr. Eli added.

Within the next three months the free Arabic Introductory lesson will run on April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19, May 26, June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23 and June 30.

The session will be held at Eton Institute of Languages, Block 4, F13 at the Knowledge Village, Dubai. There are limited seats available and everybody is encouraged to reserve their seats in advance.
