ictQATAR on Sunday launched a month-long public consultation period on the topic of tariffs for corporate telecommunications products and services.

Article continues below

Although ictQATAR has held consultations during the licensing process for mobile and fixed line providers, this is the first time the regulatory body has sought information and comments from the public specifically regarding tariffs.

As part of ictQATAR's commitment to transparency in processes and procedures, this consultation gives the public an opportunity to express views and share experiences regarding the provision of specific Q-TEL corporate tariffs.

These tariffs include the prices, minimum contract periods, technical terms and conditions, terms for termination and discount rates, if any, for the following Q-TEL corporate products and services:
Corporate Private Line Services;
Corporate IP Services;
Corporate Internet Services;
VSAT Services and
Corporate International Services.

ictQATAR urges interested parties to respond to the consultation.
