University of Dubai participates in Gulf Exhibition for Training & Education (GETEX)

GETEX is one of the most important events in the educational sector in the Middle East, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research.

GETEX starts April 02 and will continue till 05 April at the Dubai International Exhibition Center. Hundreds of participants, representing many educational centers from around the world, are participating in the event.

GETEX provides the opportunity for both private and public sectors to view the latest educational methods in educational technology and institutional training. It is a stage where the latest pedagogical models will be displayed to develop human resources and career development. Conferences will be held at GETEX sidelines where top professionals who enjoy global recognition in the educational field will meet to discuss issues related to education and training within the region.

Dr Mohammed Omar Hefni, UD President, said that 'The University takes part in this important exhibition since it is one of the most premier events focusing on educational needs of the region. It will showcase the services it offers to students, in the presence of well known regional, national and international educational organizations and their representatives.'

Also, considering the exhibition is a meeting point for students, parents, schools and officials from educational organizations, it is not only the perfect occasion to discuss the most important issues in the academic sector but also have a look into the latest technologies in the educational field.'
