AlMansoori triumphs at Excellence in Energy Awards

The Excellence in Energy Awards, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Chairman of the Emirates Group, honoured outstanding business leaders from the energy sector at an exclusive ceremony.

Now in its seventh year, the illustrious awards ceremony brought together more than 600 of the Gulf region's most senior energy representatives, VIPs and dignitaries.

Since 2005, the implementation of an HSEQ integrated management system has improved AlMansoori's overall performance by achieving 5,9191,062 hours with zero lost time incidents.

In line with this stringent HSEQ policy, the company conducts its own health monitoring management system which provides pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for all its employees.

During 2007, the business achieved its core health objective to have more than 50% of its employees in health category one, meaning they had obtained a healthy lifestyle.

AlMansoori prides itself on having a world class training programme and 2007 saw an increase in training course uptake of more than 200%. A significant rise was also seen in the number of management site visits, allowing the company to build an effective audit, inspection and compliance programme.

Winners of the prominent Excellence in Energy Awards were selected from over 300 nominations by a panel of independent experts who were specially selected for the judging.
