The limited edition Quattroporte, which made its international debut at the 2008 Detroit Motorshow, will see 25 of the 100 planned units, earmarked for the UAE.
'The opportunity to be able to sell the highest number of exclusive cars to be manufactured by Maserati is especially significant considering the size of the UAE market vis-à-vis other developed international markets,' said Hossam Hosni General Manager - Luxury Auto, Al Tayer Motors.
Al Tayer Motors will market the Collezione Cento models exclusively through its flagship Sheikh Zayed showroom in Dubai and through the Premier Motors Umm El Nar showroom.
'The UAE is a very important market for Maserati and we want to give customers the choice to own some of the most exclusive Quattroporte in production,' said Roberto Ronchi, CEO of Maserati SpA.
'UAE motoring enthusiasts are extremely passionate about their cars and this is a great opportunity for them to own a limited edition Maserati, which has truly luxurious interiors and state-of-the-art technology features combined with the trusted performance and reliability of the Quattroporte.'
The Quattroporte Limited Edition is available for private viewings by prior appointments, through the dedicated Maserati and Ferrari showrooms of Al Tayer Motors in Dubai and Premier Motors in Abu Dhabi.
This achievement follows Al Tayer Motors' recent feat of winning Maserati's 'Global Best Dealer' award among 265 international importers, from 59 countries, for its continued success with Maserati.
The award covered qualitative as well as quantitative parameters of performance. Al Tayer Motors scored high on customer care, high level of training of the dedicated Maserati team, commitment and quality in using Maserati's systems as well as substantial investment in new infrastructure.
Other parameters considered for being awarded the Global Best Dealer accolade included, number of units delivered in relation to population, market share increase, substantial investments in marketing and communication activities, generating high level of media attention, remarkable quality level of the events organised, and generating high level of brand awareness.
