Université Paris Sorbonne-Abu Dhabi at GETEX 2008

This participation serves the goal of intensifying the awareness of this renowned French teaching University, its programs and services.

Dr. Daniel Balland, Director General of the university commented: "we were approached by a very interesting mass of talented students who are willing to know more about the university and the possibility of learning French before specializing. It has also been a good experience for us to learn where our university stands in the gulf market and get to know the market's key players".

It is worth mentioning that PSUAD has opened recently its Masters programs in Urban and Regional Planning, and Marketing, Management and Communication.

The university is also considered a Research and Cultural center. As Abu Dhabi is growing to become the Arab World cultural centre, Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi serves this objective by frequently hosting cultural events within that frame.

PSUAD is a Humanities and Law university that appreciates all fields of humanities and artistic subjects.

Admission Committee also explained that in case students had no experience with the French language, the university offers an Intensive French program that lasts from one semester to an entire year.

The university follows the LMD European system for Higher Education, that is Licence, Master, and Doctorate; where students receive their bachelor degree (European Licence) in three years, followed by a 2-year-Master Program, to finally study on different intervals the Doctorate.

PSUAD degree is accepted and accredited at all universities belonging to the European Union.

The university offers a European Licence (3 years) in the following areas: Archaeology & History of Art; Economics; Geography & Urban Planning; History - Civilization and International Affairs; Languages & Business; Law and Political Science; Modern Literature; and Philosophy & Sociology.

These programs are offered in addition to the Professional Master Programs mentioned previously.

Finally, PSUAD enjoyed a good location at the exhibition which reflected its prestigious image, and the exhibition gained the exhibitor's appreciation due to its high level of organization.
