Dubai Executive Council Secretary General meets Victoria PM

The meeting was attended by Qadi Murooshid, Director General of Dubai Health Authority, Dr Abdullah Al Karam, Director General of the Knowledge & Human Development Authority in Dubai, and a number of the directors of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council.

Victoria PM reviewed the highlights of Dubai 2015 Strategic Plan and its key target to establish Dubai as a prominent global city, and realize the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, through coordinated government efforts.

The meeting tackled the role of the Executive Council and its influence during the last few years on the reinforcement of governmental performance in Dubai and its contribution to enhance all local governmental departments and authorities.

The meeting also reviewed the post-2020 future building plan of Dubai, as well as its important role in reinforcing the global prominence of Dubai, thus helping to create a new future urban vision that goes in line with the nature of the development that Dubai experiences.

Bramby has reviewed the plans and projects maintained by the County of Victoria, expressing his desire to expand horizons of cooperation between the two governments and make benefit from Dubai experience. He also praised the developments achieved by Dubai in the fields of infrastructure as well as urban and human structures.

The delegation included a number of prominent figures representing sectors of media, economy and investment, as well as representatives of Victoria local administrations.

Bin Bayat asserted the depth of cooperation between the two governments, and Dubai's readiness to provide all forms of support to strengthen such relations. The two sides have agreed on developing appropriate frames in order to exchange experience, especially in fields of education, security, justice, safety and health.

The US delegation has expressed its appreciation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai that has helped in attaining creative government performance.
