Royal Jet wins unprecedented new business with Bahrain Grand Prix

Demand for Royal Jet's private jet charter have dramatically increased in the run up to the Formula One Grand Prix event in Bahrain this weekend - from April 4th to 6th.

The international luxury flight services company, which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has been receiving a steady stream of charters from both corporate and private customers.

Royal Jet's President and CEO, Shane O'Hare, says that the number of bookings for the one event is unprecedented. "We are flying in parties of all sizes to Bahrain for the Formula One races. For some we will be using our smaller Learjet 35 aircraft, whilst for bigger parties we will be making use of our Gulfstream 300 and even our Boeing Business Jets [Boeing 737-800 variants] will be making repeated trips across to Manama".

With most of the days' activities at the Grand Prix lasting between around 8am and 6pm, a majority of the hires are for day-return trips, with some of the clients requesting the service from Royal Jet three days in a row.

"For corporate hospitality, where the impression given to clients starts the moment they are met in Abu Dhabi, prior to flying them across to Bahrain, the ambience and efficiency of the flight is as important as their enjoyment of the Grand Prix itself," O'Hare continues. "With Royal Jet they can be assured of a quality of service second to none.

"Bahrain's Formula One Grand Prix has highlighted the convenience and accessibility of using private charter aviation for individuals and corporate clients travelling to high profile events. With Abu Dhabi staging its own Formula One next year, we see Royal Jet being in pole position to pick up yet more of this particular segment of the private hire aviation market," O'Hare concluded.
