The Certification audit was conducted in accordance with the Kuwait Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (KCASR) Audit Checklist and ICAO standards and the opening meeting was held with the Quality Control Manager and Line Maintenance Manager during which they were briefed in the general objectives, scope and process of the audit.

A closing meeting was held with the same managers later highlighting the main discrepancies and observations in broad lines. NAS diligently adhered to and complied with all the requirements and no issues were raised after which the decision was made to grant the company the KCASR Part 145 Maintenance Organization Approval.

The overall maintenance approval covers aspects like facility requirements, personnel requirements, certifying staff, equipment & tools, safety & quality procedures, etc.

Engineer Naji Al Ajmi, CEO National Aviation Services stated: 'We are proud to have obtained this approval since we applied in October of last year. This is another milestone in the history of our young and dynamic organization that marks a turning point in our endeavors to provide a comprehensive service package to our valued clients including ground handling, passenger services, meet and assist and lately, line maintenance.'

'A professional team, state of the art equipment, advanced IT infrastructure and EU approved spare parts and tools clearly demonstrates our potential as a cutting edge aviation services company and will put us in the big league of airline handling companies in the region,' Al Ajmi concluded.
