Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority signs strategic agreement with Oxford Business Group

Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority has signed an agreement with Oxford Business Group (OBG), the highly acclaimed global publishing, research and consultancy firm for the (SCTDA) to act as primary partner for The Report: Sharjah 2008.
It will feature a series of exclusive interviews with key officials and business leaders in what is considered the most extensive, independent, unbiased and accurate intelligence available, and is to be produced by a team of analysts who will conduct some two hundred interviews with leading political and economic figures
Bebhinn Kelly, OBG Director for Sharjah and the northern emirates said: "This partnership will provide up-to-the-minute comments and forecasts on developing trends in Sharjah, which will be utilized by our analysts, based in the emirate.
"The guidance and advice will be invaluable through the many sections of the publication, which will include politics, the economy, financial services, construction and real estate, transport, energy, tourism and culture."
Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the SCTDA said: "There is a developing international focus on investment in Sharjah and the wide resources of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority will be at the disposal of OBG's research team. We will be able to give OBG's team invaluable data and insights into the economic and business environment of Sharjah.
"Within our role we will be able to add to the already acknowledged quality of OBG's in-depth analysis of Sharjah, which provides an invaluable guide to the country and the host of reforms which are establishing a firm basis for the role of international investors."
