Ramadan brings upgrade opportunity to Saudi companies
- Saudi Arabia: Monday, November 19 - 2001 at 10:51
- PRESS RELEASE
ACCPAC International, the leading end-to-end e-business solution provider, today announced that companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that are currently using older versions of ACCPAC software are invited to take advantage of ACCPAC's special rates during the holy month of Ramadan.
Some companies in the Kingdom using ACCPAC solutions are still operating on the DOS version that is more than ten years old. "The DOS version of ACCPAC is a very old one. Current users are missing out on the power of Windows, e-business and full cross-application integration functions and flexibility that newer versions present to their businesses," commented Van der Ven. "I am inviting all our loyal customers to take this opportunity to convert to the new ACCPAC Advantage eries that will allow them to leverage the power of modern computing and Internet technology to make their business even more profitable moving into the new year."
The more recent series of ACCPAC end-to-end e-business suites run on a number of platforms. "Our partners in Saudi Arabia, operating in Riyadh, Damam and Jeddah, are readily available to help ACCPAC customers implement the newer versions in a way that can immediately benefit them, on any of the most widely used operating systems and databases," said Van der Ven. ACCPAC solutions also integrate seamlessly with other applications and can be customized to address the specific needs of businesses. "Our partners in Saudi are highly qualified to integrate and customize ACCPAC solutions to meet our clients' exact needs." The company also addresses the linguistic needs of companies in the region by offering them an Arabized versions of its applications. "Our systems allows for a multi-lingual interface, at the same time, in the same office, while maintaining consistency in reporting."
ACCPAC launched its Middle East operations in February 2001 with the objective of building a strong distribution channel to better serve existing and potential ACCPAC users. In Saudi Arabia alone, ACCPAC has today many partners in each of the key areas in the Kingdom. "Our investments in Saudi Arabia are paying off a great deal," commented Van der Ven. "With expenditure on software in the Kingdom expected to rise to more than $5 billion by the year 2005, we had to ensure that our partners in the Kingdom and the rest of the region are available and skilled enough to address the current computing needs and the ongoing conversion to e-business by Saudi based companies." In less than a year, the company has built more than 30 strategic partnerships across the region.
ACCPAC's customer base in the region is growing rapidly because of the company's range of solutions that address new technologies on widely-used platforms, placing customers at the heart of business operations. "Our new clients are receiving significant benefits from ACCPAC's latest solutions: we wish to extend this to users of older ACCPAC versions," concluded Van der Ven. "The holy month of Ramadan seemed to us a great time to present our clients with this upgrade opportunities, at half the cost."
