Prospective alumni of the prestigious Oxford-based University should submit the required papers before the end of April.
Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager Etisalat Academy, said: 'This program was designed to bring together the highest educational teachings available and the stringent and diverse requirements of today's businesses. The course has been designed to take into account the intense work pressures faced by people working in the Middle East, and courses will take place in evenings and at weekends. Participants can also take a study vacation during their course, if they require it.'
The MBA offered by Oxford Brookes University Business School and hosted by Etisalat Academy in Dubai, will start in July and will take place over a period of 24 months, with a further short period required to complete the dissertation.
It is organized into three phases, one in the UAE at the Etisalat Academy, a second via distance learning and a final optional phase, which can take place during a stay at the Oxford Brookes University in England. All participants who successfully pass the course will be invited to graduate from the university's campus in Oxford.
All applicants should have a minimum of three years' relevant managerial or professional experience together with a degree from a recognized university, polytechnic, or college.
It is also possible to enter this program on the basis of managerial experience rather than as a graduate - in this case applicants should hold a minimum of seven years' relevant managerial or professional experience.
They will also need to pass a TOEFL test, or pass the IELTS test (level 6 overall, including a minimum of level 6 in reading and writing). For those whose English qualifications may have expired, Oxford Brookes University can supplement the expired qualification with their own entrance examination which takes only 90 minutes to complete.
Applicants will have to submit official papers from institutes they are working for within Public or Private sectors. Finally they have to sit for an interview in front of the Oxford Brookes faculty panel, which will be conducted at the Academy offices during the month of May.
The program includes the following courses, Foundations of Management, Management Self Development, Accounting and Finance, Global Business Strategy, Organizational Change and Transformation.
The MBA also offers a choice of two elective courses in Global Market Development and Strategic Financial Management. Finally they have to provide their Dissertation in one area of interest in management.
