Kuwait property prices fall

Real estate activity in Kuwait fell to its lowest level in 11 months in February, according to the latest monthly statistics from the National Bank of Kuwait. A total of 839 sales transactions were registered in worth KD156.1m ($586.6m). The value of residential sales fell 24%, driven by the 47% drop in average property prices. The value of loans approved by the Savings and Credit Bank declined by 22% in February.
