Speaking of the appointment, White Bay Project Manager Costas Alexandrou said,

CHEC is the major international operating division of CCCC Group, the result of a merger in December 2005 between China Harbour Engineering Company Group and China Road and Bridge Corporation.
The CCCC Group is ranked 14th out of the 225 top international contractors according to Engineering News Recording (ENR), and has operations in more than 20 countries across the globe covering marine engineering, dredging and reclamation, roads and bridges, port machinery, and survey and design.
White Bay is being developed by Al Murjan Real Estate.
The master-planned, resort-style community comprises two man-made islands located on the placid shores of Umm Al-Quwain.
The development's 8,000 units are spread over a land area of 19 million sq.ft and facilities include a 190 berth marina, canal and health centre.
