Shariah gold shares to trade on DIFX

The World Gold Council and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre have joined forces to launch Shariah compliant gold shares. The security will be listed on the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX), can be traded daily and will add transparency to the gold market. The DMCC said it was also a good way to hedge against the weak dollar. Still subject to regulatory approval, the shares should begin trading later this year.
