This exhibition, organized and conducted by one of the leading event management companies in Oman - Oman International Trade & Exhibitions (OITE), will go on till the 9th April 2008 and hosts career, training and educational aspects catering to the local needs and demands.
Two new concepts introduced for the first time this year are Edutech - Education technology and services and Schoolex - Private, International and boarding schools expo. The former would focus and elaborate on the various modern infrastructure and technologies used to impart education and facilitate e-learning.
This would help in making institutions tech-savvy and on par with the rest of the world. The latter would bring to the fore options available in school education both local and international showcasing schools from Dubai, Canada and India among others.
'We are a company who, through ongoing research, try to build and develop on the current market needs and focus on bringing information and services to the doorstep of people in Oman and the region. Doing so, would help not only the community and make them aware of options available but will also help in firmly establishing Oman in the world's trade and business scenario,' said Mr. Sadiq Ahmed Khan, Director - Sales & Marketing, OITE.
HE Mohammed Bin Ali Bin Nassir Al Alawi inaugurates the Ghedex, Trainex and Jobex
The 9th Gulf Higher Education Exhibition (Ghedex) along with the Trainex and Jobex events was inaugurated yesterday by HE Mohammed Bin Ali Bin Nassir, the Minister of Legal Affairs at the start of the exhibition in the Oman International Exhibition Centre, Seeb.
