Zenith strengthens Middle East team

Following its successful Beverages Middle East Congress and Gulfood seminar programme, Zenith International has further strengthened its Middle East team with the appointment of Sam Shammas as Regional Manager - Market Development for Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Sam will be based in Dubai and will work closely with Adam Beresford-Browne, Regional Manager for Asia, Middle East and Africa, as well as Khaled Arafa, Consulting Director.

Originally from Lebanon and with a degree in Business Marketing, Sam has worked throughout the Middle East in a series of Sales and Marketing Manager positions as well as in brand management with Diageo.

Most recently he held a range of brand, project and communications roles with National Food Products Company in Dubai, including responsibilities for the Milco and Oasis brands.

Zenith Chairman Richard Hall commented:

"Sam has all the qualities we were seeking to help us develop our business in the region. We now have six people permanently based in Dubai and his arrival enables us to offer a more complete range of food and drink consultancy services using local expertise".
