New Samsung Customer Service Plaza provides one-stop service convenience for Riyadh residents

Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia opened its Customer Service Plaza in Riyadh. Located on Khurais Street, the new Samsung Customer Service Plaza provides a one-stop centre for the service, repair and inquiries on all Samsung products.

The new service centre reinforces Samsung's commitment to its valued customers with a new level of customer care service which exceeds all expectations. In addition, Samsung customers can also benefit from the newly adopted CRM program through the Customer Service Plaza website that will be operational by May 2008. The website will enable customers to check for warranty and status of items sent in for repair; in addition customers will be given the chance to evaluate the service provided through the service centers. This service is especially useful when customers are too busy to call the Samsung Call Center during operating hours.

"The Samsung Customer Service Plaza will cater to all Samsung products for servicing and repairs," explained G.C. Cho, General Manager of Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia. "The opening of the new customer service plaza is part of the company's bid to foster closer ties with its Saudi consumers."

"Samsung products are as much of a 'lifestyle' choice as a 'technology' one," commented Cho. "When our customers purchase a Samsung product, be it a fridge, mobile phone, notebook or television, we want them to feel sure that they're investing not only in a beautifully styled product, with superior technology, but also a fully-focused customer service programme to support them with help and advice should they need it."

To get the ball rolling, Samsung will have its Kingdom-wide 'Free Service Campaign' for Air Conditioning and Consumer Electronics product categories. The campaign will start from 12 April till 16 April 2008. Customers will be entitled to free service and labour of their products during that period.

Present at the opening, Adnan Matbouli, CEO of United Matbouli Group, Samsung appointed distributor in the Kingdom, said: "Since our customers are our first and foremost concern, we decided that one centre that addresses all their concerns was the best way to go. With that in mind, Samsung opened its first customer service plaza in Riyadh this year. This will be followed by opening more centers in Riyadh and around the Kingdom in the nearest future."

"The choice of Riyadh as its first service plaza location reinforces Samsung Saudi Arabia's way of acknowledging Riyadh's importance in its Saudi business plans," added Matbouli.

Samsung's Customers Service Plaza features extensive after-sales support through its state-of-the-art call center to cater for all customers needs and inquiries. Accessible on 9200 13 232, the center operates Saturday through Thursday, and will be closed on Fridays and Public holidays.
