Holiday Autos Middle East in global football challenge
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, April 08 - 2008 at 11:24
- PRESS RELEASE
If you thought that handing over car keys to put you on the road to that memorable holiday adventure was their specialty - you were right. But the team at Holiday Autos Middle East is also very good at football. And they're looking for a challenge.
Most impressively, the team reached the quarter finals in their first tournament.
The le Tournoi tournament, at the JESS school football pitches at Arabian Ranches, attracted 15 teams from as far afield as the UK and Australia.
The Holiday Autos team finished fourth in the group stages, losing only to a UK British Airways team in the quarter finals.
Naz Musa, MD of Holiday Autos and right back of Team Holiday Autos said: "Perhaps my legs aren't as quick and nimble as they used to be but if sponsoring a team means I get to play then its worth every penny! I'm sure there are travel industry teams playing in various parts of the UAE already and I'm looking forward to locking horns with them all at some stage this year!"
If you think your football team can rise to the challenge, there's plenty more turf to be scuffed on local soil.
