Captain Abdullah Hameed Al Shamsi, Administrative Affairs Manager at DNRD, briefed the SNRD delegation on the state-of-the-art electronic archiving system used by the Residence and Entry Permits departments.
He explained how the principle of a 'paperless administration' is being implemented by the departments as part of Dubai's e-Governance system. SNRD officials got acquainted with the working style, policies, and regulations adopted by the DNRD to simplify and speed up transactions for the public.
DNRD delegation went on a similar visit to the Ajman Naturalization and Residency Department last week to enhance collaboration and strategic alliance between the two departments.
Dubai and Sharjah naturalization and residency departments strengthen ties
As part of strengthening co-operation and exchange of information between UAE government departments, Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) received a high-level delegation comprising 16 officials from the Sharjah Naturalization and Residency Department (SNRD), led by Captain Jassem Salem Al Mazloom, Deputy Head of the Electronic Archiving Department.
