Dubai Holding to recruit talented Emiratis at Careers UAE 2008

Dubai Holding will showcase its diversified portfolio of companies and highlight career and training opportunities available to UAE nationals.

The country's premier recruitment, training and education exhibition will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 15-17.

Representatives from Dubai Holding and its seven entities will be located on one large stand in Zabeel Hall, Stand number Z-F5, at DICEC, to counsel and explore career paths, as well as collect resumes.

With the expected number of visitors to Careers UAE 2008 set to top 20,000 this year, Dubai Holding is confident that the many career opportunities it will offer will enable it to tap further into the rich pool of talented Emiratis emerging from the UAE's universities and colleges.

Last year 200 UAE Nationals started on their career path with Dubai Holding upon graduation which was a direct result of their attendance at the Careers fair.

Dubai Holding is committed to actively developing the skills of its employees. It has introduced 'Leadon' a programme for future leaders, which seeks to develop individuals with high potential and lay the foundation for all future talent and succession management initiatives across the company.

'Leadon' is benchmarked against similar programmes in global organisations such as General Electric, the multinational technology and services company, and Toyota, the world's largest automaker by revenue.

Dubai Holding has also incorporated the Emirates Nationals Development Program into its recruitment processes.
