Bahrain to shut down oil refinery

Bahrain plans to shut down a 100,000 barrels per day unit at its 260,000 bpd Bapco oil refinery for planned maintenance for five to six weeks late this year, reported Reuters, citing a Bahrain Petroleum official. The unit is the largest of five crude units at the refinery, said Khalid Buhazza, manager for supply marine operations at the state-owned company.
