Dubai Medical College launches fund

Dubai Medical College for Girls (DMCG), the first medical college in the UAE, has launched the Medical Research Fund which aims to create a framework to overcome obstacles in performing community research by channeling resources to quality researchers who deserve such support. Prof. Fatehia Aly Bayoumy, General Secretary of the MRF said the MRF will be governed by key specialised committees that will oversee the research programs from the technical, financial and ethical perspectives. These committees will propose funding programs and develop the criteria and guidelines for funding.
