DTCM is participating in a big way in the exhibition with 33 co-participants from its booming tourism industry to promote and market the emirate as ideal year-round Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) destination.
Mr. Khalid A. Bin Sulayem was accompanied by Mr. Awadh S. Alketbi, Executive Director, Dubai Convention Bureau, Saleh Mohammed Al Geziry, Director Overseas Promotions and Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman, Executive Director, Media Relations and Acting Director, Business Development.
The three-day fair opened at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for the global meetings and incentives industry yesterday.
The Co-Participants informed the DG DTCM that they are satisfied over the response of the visitors and potential clients.
Bin Sulayem appreciating their services and cooperation for joining hands of DTCM for the show, said that DTCM is extending every possible cooperation and support to its counterparts in other emirates to promote UAE as incentive destination.
He said the joint and concerted efforts would make the task easy for all in the tourism and leisure sectors to put UAE as distinguished business and tourism destination in the world.
The event has been organized on 3950 square meter exhibition space that had attracted over 175 International exhibitors from Asia, Mediterranean and European Markets.
Sheikh Hamed bin Ahmed bin Hamed Al Hamed, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Al Farida Investments, Abu Dhabi also visited the DTCM stall.
He was received by Mr. Awadh S. Alketbi, and Saleh Mohammed Al Geziry. They informed him that DTCM is keen to participate in this important event every year.
They also informed that the number of co-participants has increased this year and hoped that the upward trend would continue at the same pace in future too.
