The Crans Montana Forum has just signed an agreement with the Government of Bosnia-Herzegovina for the organisation of the 1st Session of Crans Montana Forum in Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina).
Signing this agreement in Bahrain is a manifestation of Bosnia-Herzegovina to welcome deeper cooperation with Bahrain and the Gulf States.
Since the appointment of Mr. Nedzad Brankovic as Prime Minister, Bosnia & Herzegovina has made significant steps towards sound socio-economic development and policy making.
Like for other South East European Countries, Bosnia-Herzegovina offers a large number of investment opportunities in various fields such as infrastructure, transport networks, energy as well as financial markets.
The aim of the Crans Montana Forum in Sarajevo is to present all opportunities in terms of joint ventures and Foreign Direct Investment.
Participants from the GCC States will find unique interests in creating links with this country.
The Forum will also have a Regional focus thus gathering Heads of States and Governments from South East Europe as well as the most important representatives of the Business community.
It will provide participants with exceptional opportunities of networking with Government Officials and Businesses from Bosnia-Herzegovina, South East Europe, the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and the Middle East.
The Crans Montana Forum is organising the very successful "Central Europe and New Eastern Economies Strategies with the Gulf States" gathering more than 300 participants.

Dr. Hassan Bin Abdullah Fakhro, Minister of Industry & Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Bernard Savage, Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Essam A. Fakhro, President, Federation of GCC Chambers & President of Bahrain CCI, Mr. Pierre Simon, President, EUROCHAMBERS & Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, Mr. Petar Stoyanov, Former President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Adrian Nastase, Former Prime Minister, Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Romania, Mr. Peter Medgyessy, Former Prime Minister, Ambassador at Large of Hungary, Mr. Ovidiu Silaghi, Minister for SMEs Trade, Tourism & Liberal Professions, Romania.
For more than 20 years, the Crans Montana Forum has been committed to the Economic development and the World Integration of new Democracies.
Its mission is to offer a platform where Heads of State and of Governments, Ministers, International Organizations, Academics and Companies can meet in an open atmosphere in order to know each other better and to implement their strategies.
